SDC Showcases New B2B Lineup at Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo 2026

From May 21st to 23rd, SDC participated in the 'Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo 2026 (POATE)', one of East Africa's premier tourism events, held at the Speke Resort Munyonyo.
As the expo brought together key players from across the global tourism industry-including airlines, hotels, and tour agencies-SDC utilized this platform to officially launch its new, cutomized B2B product line. Our showcase highlighted a seamless blend of modern, minimalist aesthetics with the vibrant identity of traditional 'Kitenge' fabric, capturing the attention of both local and international buyers.
The newly unveiled collection featured specialized Restaurant Kits and Amenity Pouches, alongside an exclusive collaborative lineup with the brand APOYO, which included Neck Pillows, Sports Bags, and Animal Dolls. A key highlight of the exhibition was our emphasis on 1:1 bespoke customization. By introducing unique textile patterns co-designed with AI, SDC demonstrated its capability to deliver sewing design solutions that meet the specific branding needs of diverse commercial clients.
Throughout the three-day event, SDC engaged in high-level networking and explored strategic partnerships with prominent organizations such as the Sheraton Hotel, Uzima Tour, KHotel, and Africa Runners Tourism. Building on the momentum from POATE 2026, SDC remains committed to driving sustainable growth and expanding its footprint in the global B2B market.
